This week at school we started going to powertime. In Mrs. Kinder’s powertime class we are making a recycling presentation for the fourth graders.
This week in reading we started doing the global read aloud and the book that we are reading is Pax. Pax is about a fox who gets abandoned by a boy named Peter. Peter didn’t want to though. His dad made him. So the fox was left in the forest. Peter started a 200 mile journey to find Pax. There is going to be a war in the forest Pax is in. That’s all we read about so far.
This week is fire prevention week. So our school is going to have a fire drill and an assembly this afternoon. Of course our assembly is going to be about what to do when your house is on fire or the building that you are in is on fire.
This week we started doing the measuring of the mass of two carrots and we are using a pan balance. We have done this for 10 days. Each day the mass for both has decreased.
