Today on Friday March 17th is the podcast. We're donating to the St. Baldrick's Cancer program for Childhood Cancer. Our goal for this year is $4000. We hope to get more viewers than last year which was around 200 viewers. This year it is live in the media center this year, it used to be in the concession stand area. To get closer to our goal we also sold t-shirts to the students and held an open gym that was the day before the podcast. Some of the kids in our class that are helping with the podcastathon. For example some are interviewing teachers and some just have a topic to talk about. One group is doing crazy facts. Hope you listened into our podcast and donated to the St. Baldrick's Program.
Also this week, and last week, we’ve been doing tumbling in gym. It's been pretty fun doing all the animal walks, front rolls, back rolls, and cartwheels, yet some people may have wanted to do another unit. Can’t forget about HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!!
Yesterday on March 16th 2017, we had a social studies test.
On Wednesday we had a tornado drill. We had to go in the hall then duck and cover. Then the principal said we had to go into the classroom because if the doors would have magically opened we would have blown down the hall. We finally got to stop ducking and covering, but then we had to go back to class to learn. :(
Here is a St. Patty’s joke.
David: Mom, I met an Irish boy on St. Patrick’s Day.
Mom: Oh, really?
David: No, O’Reilly
